The building was amazing. Very historic. The canal view is a little misleading because while there is a view of the Grand Canal it's pretty limited.
Awesome property, great customer service and great location!
Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location to fruit market, restaurants, shopping and Rialto Bridge. A double bed is two twins pushed together. Occasional gnats get in the room but it's probably hard to them out as they hang all around the canals.
The front desk staff were excellent. Hotel is situated in a prime location, pretty close to Rialto Bridge. Breakfast was very good.
Locanda Post Vecie was in the perfect location. We would have struggle to find better considering how close to the Grand Canal we were without being on the front. Also, the area Rialto is one of the best to stay in of which the hotel in located in. The breakfast was more than excellent, all you can eat continental, great for keeping you going until dinner if you want to save some money. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was good. We had an attic room that unfortunately didn’t have usable air conditioning (something to do with the owner not wanting it on), this made it a little unbareable after a long day. Other than that the room was great, huge comfy bed under velux windows and all the usual bits you would expect with a T.V. I would recommend the hotel but that air conditioning needs fixing (or turning on).
Everything as find apart from check in. No one was there when we arrived and eventually the door was buzzed open and a women pointed at our key then walked away. The normal receptionist was however lovely and very helpful and overall was a good place to stay
Everything was perfect. Only thing is that it is a little difficult to find but ask the nice Venicians and they point you in the right directon.
Great little place tucked away down a narrow alley. Easy access to Rialto bridge and good food. Beds were a bit hard and be sure to ask for extra pillows. Great location and staff.
Hotel is in a quiet location but round the corner there are plenty of bars and restaurants. It is a few minutes from Rialto Bridge Staff were very friendly Would stay here again
Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is near the fish market and the fruit and vegetable stands are there daily as well. Lots of restaurants, shopping and boat transport within a few minutes walk. The room was a comfortable temperature with the air conditioning. Unfortunately, there was a huge patch of mildew near the unit. There was a thick layer of dust along a ridge of the outside wall and under the bed where I had my suitcase. The bed was comfortable and we were given a softer pillow when we asked. A decent continental breakfast was served in the attached restaurant from 8-10 with fantastic coffee service. The window had a nice view overlooking the canal and there was a canary singing every morning in an apartment across the way.
