Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. We couldn't get the heat to work in our room at 1:30 am and the front desk came up to turn it on for us. Love staying at this hotel

Worst Ramada Experience Ever
Ramada is usually not my first choice of hotel but i do stay at Ramada locations whenever other options are not readily available. However I will NEVER stay at Ramada in Stettler, AB again. Check-in was not overly friendly and appeared very unmotivated but that i can easily live with. However when I got into my room, first thing I noted was an unclean toilet with "traces of business" clearly showing. As I was very tired after hours of driving, I decided not to use toilet and just shower and go to sleep. When i got (or attempted to) get into bed a good size bug crawled from under the sheets. I crushed it, got dressed and went to front desk. The agent was busy for the longest time on the phone and didn't acknowledge me. When she was finally done i told her to get me another room asap and told her about issues. She said no rooms available she would have to check.first. I told her I'd pack my stuff and expect another room as soon as i was done. I did get another room which was ok but not the kind of room i had booked. A mumbled apology was all I got in response to the terrible condition in first room. In extraordinary times like these, cleanliness is vital and i missed any announcements regarding their covid protocols. From the disgusting conditions in my (first) room i figured that there is definitely no thorough cleaning and disinfection going on in that hotel. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid is all i can say.

Very happy with front desk staff, the room had someone left over empty liquor bottles in cabinet told front desk they moved us to different room. I think the rooms could be clean a little better, especially the mirrors .
