I was very happy with my stay at this charming little property. The views are spectacular, the staff was attentive and wonderful and helpful, and the grounds were inspiring. What a wonderful place to wake up in the morning. And what a great place to stay on the coast, not so overwhelmingly and chaotically busy as some other spots, but still so close to any action you might want and with its own little town with plenty of personality to spare. I think it very likely that if I visit the Amalfi coast again in the future, I will be staying again.

Loved the location of the property. Very conveniently located, in the quaint town of Praiano. We preferred being about 15 minutes from Positano, outside of the busy tourist area, and enjoy more of the smaller town feel that Praiano has to offer. Clean, nice hotel with beautiful views. Only stayed a night but would be a nice place for a longer stay.

Exceptionally clean and peaceful hotel
A quiet, exceptionally clean hotel offering a tranquil stay. In my opinion this is more of a couples hotel as there is no area for children to play nor a separate children's pool. We were lucky to book a seaview room with a large terrace and sun loungers included. This gave us the relaxing break we hoped for. The air conditioning was a little temperamental at times and there were no tea and coffee facilities in our room. However these were only slight inconveniences and we made the best of what we did have as our room was very comfortable, and had an excellent rainfall shower. The buffet breakfast offered a good selection of cold dishes and hot drinks, and the staff in the breakfast room were friendly. Andrea, the lifeguard, was quite a character and recommended places to eat and best transport options. He demonstrated high standards and kept the pool area clean and tidy, as well as providing pool side snacks and drinks, and good background music. Pool towels provided free of charge. Rosa on reception made us feel very welcome, had good local knowledge and was more than happy to offer advice on bookings and places to eat or places of local interest. In my opinion, she takes an active interest in all residents and likes to ensure that residents have a good customer experience at Hotel Il Pino. Special thanks to all the hotel staff for making our stay here so good, and especially Vincenzo, who indulged me in my quest to improve my Italian. Highly recommend Hotel Il Pino

Fantastic location with breathtaking views from the balconies and from the pool area. Bus to Amalfi and Positano very close by. The pool is probably the biggest differentiator from similar properties in the area and is very useful given the vertical distance to the beach from most properties in Praiano. Rooms are comfortable if a little tired but still with Italian charm. The on site restaurant was a bit disappointing (though the sunset views are stunning), with the food a bit bland and uninspiring compared to other options nearby
