This place reeksI’m of apathy
Not even checked out and I’m leaving this. First you have to understand that with any stay in Shreveport La you need to lower your expectations. I’ve stayed in 8 different hotels up here and only one has been good. The Hollywood casino was great but under the El Dorado, it has been Shreveported.
This hotel: 1. every hard floor surface in the place is sticky.
2 Bathroom fixtures are just laying around in the shower.
3. Hallway light fixtures are cockeyed.
4. The room door is out of square so it drags like a house who’s foundation is settled.
5. THE PUBES OF THE LAST OCCUPANTS are on the floor of the bathroom.
6. I don’t think I have ever complained about water pressure, but this like showering in a car wash.
7. The cocktail table in the room had the grease from the last people still on it. The list is endless.
8. No free WiFi unless you join their honors program. Seriously, who doesn’t offer free WiFi in 2022?
9. The toilet won’t flush unless you hold the handle down.
If this was a Microtel, ok you get what you pay for. But this was close to $400 for a single night stay. The only thing I can say good about this hotel is the shuttle service. Very convenient. Otherwise, it’s a dog and should be shuttered. Or discounted greatly. Stay at the Remington if you can get it. As far as I can tell, it’s the Port City’s only good hotel.
