Lovely hotel. Very remote and on it's own, which helps with the peacefulness.

Very beautiful place. It's well-decorated (I love the piano in the lobby), the staff were super friendly, and the complimentary water and wafers were a lovely touch (especially after a long trip). I wish I had more time to stay and enjoy the amenities (but it was just a night's stay). The parking is ample and free (which was nice), but just be careful with the narrow roads when coming here. Overall, a very lovely stay.

If you can upgrade your room and ask for a view over the water. We had a lovely view of the car park. Also book midweek. Went on a Friday and it was full of drunken neds. Spa is georgous, however go for opening time as I dont think the place sees a cleaner until the following day so full dirty robes, towels and glasses lying all over every corner and bed. Again , full of drunken neds. Not relaxing as a spa should be.

This is a very nice hotel with a lovely spa, although perhaps it should be included in the price of the room as that is standard in equivalent properties weā€™ve stayed in. Otherwise, a luxurious hotel and I would recommend it.

Stayed for one night here with a friend . I cannot fault either staff or hotel as we had a lovely time . Food and drinks were lovely . If I had to have one downside it was the Ā£25 you need to pay for use of the pool and spa facilities for 2hours . We did use this and it was beautiful but I still feel itā€™s a bit much . But a beautiful hotel in a fabulous location and staff couldnā€™t do enough for you .

10/10 Exceptional

We loved our stay here. The check in staff were great - so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and very quick service. We booked this hotel for the spa as we were just looking for a night away to chill so the location was perfect. The view from the jacuzzi and sauna was so nice overlooking the Firth of Clyde (I think! šŸ™ˆšŸ˜‚šŸ˜). The only minor thing was after I booked I got notification that we could book the spa for a 2 hour period at a charge of Ā£25 each - I should have realised with it being an actual spa hotel rather than one with a pool and sauna that there would be a restriction/charge and I probably hadnā€™t read the description properly but to be honest it was worth every penny. Another minor issue was that we could hear every person passing our room at night - not a big deal for us but maybe would be for others. Room was a really good size and was lovely and cosy. Would definitely stay again.
