Looking for a LITERAL roach motel? This is it!
This place sucks. I’m a very non-picky person when it comes to lodging but this was BAD. Do yourself a favor, spend another $10-20, and stay at a name brand chain nearby – there’s plenty of low cost options in San Antone. Here’s what sucks about it: Roaches everywhere (killed 3, at least 2 more got away), Extremely shady fellow travelers (I did not feel very safe), holes in the walls in every room, power went out twice in the one night we stayed there, pool gate does not latch – not safe for small children, terrible beds – worse pillows, and they never refunded my $20 deposit (still working with my CC to get this back). It is right next to the strip club though, so that could be bonus – depending on what kinda things you are into.

Flex Hotel Stay 3/10/23 - 3/12/23
The service was very good and the security guard on site made me feel comfortable. The A/C needed improvement for sure. For the amount of time I was in the room it was ok! The price tag was outstanding thou.

You get what you pay for.
I arrived an hour before check in and the desk clerk stated that I would have to pay an extra $20 if I wanted the room one hour early. I left and came back at 4p.m. I was charged a $20 deposit to my credit card that is refundable. I requested a non-smoking room, and I confirmed it with the owner. I was given a room at the back of the property which was kinda scary. Looked like a back alley where deals are done. There was a couple of people camped out at the doorway has if it was their house. I walked into the room and stench of cigarettes hit me like a ton of bricks. It looked like the roomed to be cleaned a little better. The AC barely worked, dirt all over the vents, bulbs were out. There was hair long hair all over the toilet seat and towels hard and dingy. The main door security latch was broken. I wanted to go down to complain but didn't kind of figured all the rooms would be the same. I guess I get what i paid for. I'm so glad that I didn't pay the extra $20 just to spend an extra hour in the smelly room. I can't believe Hotels.com would even allow this MOTEL to advertise on their website.

Cozy room
The stay was good, and comfortable. The only problem that wasn't even a problem was that they require everyone staying needed to show ID luckily they still allowed myself and my husband to stay with proof of his identification only, but it could have been a issue if they asked for both, because my ID was not with me, and I accidentally left it in my bosses truck.
