Could’ve been better
Room 227 smelled strongly like cigarette smoke, the smoke detector is disabled, the phone weirdly had buttons missing, the channel selection on the TV is basic, the towel holder by the sink was damaged (the third photo), and the room’s AC/heating unit needs thoroughly cleaned. I didn’t bring these issues to the front desk as I just wanted to go to sleep. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were serviceable, all of the outlets and lamps worked, the refrigerator worked. The other guests are, for me, an annoyance as well. When I was checking in, two different black guys cut in line and were disrespectful to me and to the overworked employee behind the desk. One came in saying “I need muh change!” over and over even though the poor employee was already with a guest. The other guy came in complaining about the number of beds in his room and thought he could go to the front of the line because he had already checked in. The employee apologized to me when they were gone, but it’s clear that this hotel has a lot of these self-centered people who just weren’t raised right. Heck, when I got there, the employee was one the phone with a guest who was complaining about the people in the room next door. I made sure to get all of my possessions and my change out of my car.

When arriving we paid for a king room and when coming in the lady at the desk said all they have is a mobility room so we took it not knowing the issues we would have. When showering the room fills up the entire bathroom with water and doesn't go down the drain, my husband fell and was injured on his side and couldn't get up. So i went to go pick up the phone and no dial tone and phone didn't work so I had to go and leave the room with my injured husband in the room to report what had happened to discuss the room issus along with many towels to clean up the water in the bathroom. As I was going downstairs waiting in the lobby for someone to return to the desk, he was sleeping in the back and I kept calling for an assistants help for my husband so worried for him. I asked to speak to the manager he told me he would be in at 11am. I have added the pictures of the room

Dump don’t stay here
Dirty, smelly, room. The guy checked us into a room next to someone the desk later admitted they knew was a drunk. They kept us up all night. I was scared and terrified all night as they partied outside my door. I was sure they were probably doing crack to keep themselves awake. Slamming doors, loud talking, in and out of the room all night. Yelling at each other then making up like best buddies. Ordering sandwiches. The desk did nothing when we complained. This was a horrible hotel. I did not even feel safe as the safety lock was broken off the door. Should have just left after I checked in that is what my gut thought was. Someone needs to clean this place up. I thought since it was represented by Wyndham that it would have been an OK place. I won’t trust that thought again. The desk guy admitted they were kicking the drunk out his words, today. A lot of good that did me after being in the road 10 hours I just wanted to sleep a few before getting back on the road for another 8. No compensation offered, no nothing just oh sorry. Well I plan to let everyone know your place Wingate Baymont, by Wyndham on Miller Lane Dayton OH is a horrible DUMP!!

This was the most dirtiest room we have ever stay at. There were stains and hair on bed sheets. When we complain they did give us sheets which we had to put on. We only stay because we prepaid for room and the sheet they did give to us were clean.
