Hotel muy centrico y contando con todas las medidas de contingencia sanitaria
It’s location is good. We booked a full size bed they gave us two twin beds. No ac no windows. They have cockroaches. It said they have 24/7 room service they don’t. They don’t even a place where you can eat
Lo que me gusta del lugar es que esta al centro del zocalo. Lo malo es que cuando hay protesta a veces los taxia no pueden entragar a dejar a uno. Pero eso son a veces por la mayor parte esta todo libre
Right on downtown perfect distance to everything Wifi was the worst thing and hot water for shower Bed was very uncomfortable and the building was a little old
No a/c or at least a window you can open for fresh air . Roaches in my room.
3 cucarachas en el room
I just like the location , it is dirty, it has cockroaches, no air conditioner
This hotel exceeded my expectations. Location is absolutely ideal for visiting Oaxaca - Zocalo is steps away - music, restaurants, shopping galore. Very easy to book tours - you must - very inexpensive and you see so much. Walk to galleries, museums, churches, ice cream, juice bars, sidewalk vendors - delightful, stimulating day. Gala hotel is 2 doors up from an OXXO which has 12 kinds of coffee - HOT, flavorful - less than $1 USD. A nice panaderia about 3 blocks away. For the price I paid, I was surprised that it had some amenities you'd expect in expensive USA hotels: comfortable sitting areas within the hotel, interesting art pieces throughout, very helpful front desk staff: arranged for an early morning cab, made a phone call to a tour company for me; rooms have bottles of water, telephone, a washcloth (!) (a rarity in many hotels), shampoo, soap, 4 towels, bath mat. I booked a single and got 3 twin beds in my room! OK by me. Doesn't have A/C, but a fan (for me and the weather I had, was fine). Has a TV of course, but I never turned it on. You can also book tours at the hotel - I had already signed up for another, price at hotel was about $2.50 USD more - all the tours go to the same places. I would definitely stay here again.
This hotel has a great location. It is just off the zócalo, and close to everything. It is basic but comfortable. The bell hop and cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The staff were extremely friendly and attentive to my needs. The room and hotel in general was very clean. The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to a large beautiful public square. There was some noise at night, occasionally sounded like water rushing through pipes, but by wearing ear plugs I was able to sleep well. The small room was a perfect size for me. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, it's a great value!
