Palazzo del Corso
very good hotel, great location, excellent service

Palazzo del Corso
Satisfactory... thought we paid for Excellent
The location of the Hotel was great if you want to go into the old town nightly without staying in the old town. The staff were friendly and helpful. The reason we were just satisfied with the stay was that the A/C didn't work correctly. The room never cooled to the temperature on the thermostat and the A/C went on and off all night. Very noisy which resulted in not getting a good nights rest while we were there. Also, we asked for ice one night and it never came. I went to the front desk after an hour and it finally came just as we were getting ready for bed. When we went to check out we were charged for the "room service" to get the ice. After arguing the front desk staff did remove the charge. The only other thing I would recommend is going into old town for dinner versus staying at the hotel. We found that the food was better at a much lower price.

Relaxing weekend break
We stayed 3 nights in this elegant hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served on the top floor with beautiful views. The hotel was in a great position for the old and new towns and also had the use of a beach club

2 nights in Gallipoli
A lovely hotel close to the historical port... the roof top area is great especially for breakfast and a couple of early evening drinks. There is an annoying recording of birds with gun shots to keep the seagulls away from the pool although you didn't notice this down the other end of the terrace. Parking was convenient out of the back of the hotel and the historical port is within easy walking distance.
