Near Shinjuku
This hotel is usually pretty busy and usually pretty much booked. That being said, when we arrived, we weren’t able to get an early check-in (even though it was only 15 minutes from the normal check-in time), so be advised you might be waiting if you arrive hours earlier than your scheduled time. They will take your luggage, so you are free to roam around the area. The room was nice but do not walk bare feet on the carpet. I did twice and my feet started to get a minor irritation and it was socks on for the rest of the stay. The bed was firm but had a soft touch to it and the sheets/comforter/pillows were super soft! The bathroom was kind of small and the shower/tub was the worst part. It was old and water leaked all over the floor because they have a half sheet of glass that doesn’t prevent any water from staying in the tub. Plus the rubber seal has a 6 inch gap where more water pours in the floor...just ridiculous. The lotions and body wash bottles are super small, almost toddler size and I had to keep asking for more which was annoying. There is a side desk (not concierge) that will give you umbrellas, subway passes, book shuttle to the airport and store your luggage when you check out and everyone working this desk was truly wonderful. There isn’t much around this hotel but you are one subway stop from Shinjuku that will accommodate your ever need. There is a Tully’s coffee shop nearby but it’s attached to a hospital but I avoided it because I didn’t want to get sick.

Long citytrip to tokyo
Nice hotel, good location, the prices in the restaurants of the hotel are high and not always value for money.

Exceptional
Beautiful building with amazing views. Great breakfast. The rooms are a bit old, but it is part of the building character!
