Traveled week of Jan 19. Over all great service, impeccable room service; makes me a repeat customer even during COVID. Was offered an upgrade to ocean view for $240 (reasonable) didn't take it. Had plans for Xcaret, and Xplorer.

We stayed 12/24-12/29/2020. We stayed at the Ventus which is newer. Not many activities or entertainment. Because of the season many of the pool activities were cancelled due to the water being cold and cooler weather. Food was good . Sanitation and cleanliness was great . Room was cleaned daily. When booked the promotion was to receive $600 of coupons which we recieved the booklet but the coupons were $10 off of $100 or more service so we did not use any of the coupons. Internet was expensive $15 per day per device. No problems exiting or entering either side and we are located in the North of US.

Make sure to make your reservation for any of the restaurants before 9:00 pm otherwise you will be rushed by the staff stating that the kitchen is closing early (before 10:00 am schedule time).

We went there for our friend destination wedding and ended up staying at the Ventus El Cid because the pandemic shut part of the resort down, which was the Hotel Marina part. However the service was top notch, the food was amazing and delicious. The resort was not so large we couldn't walk to most areas like the pools and the restaurants. The shuttle were pretty fast to pick us up, when we needed them. We had a great time, even though our last night was during the Hurricane. They brought us sandwiches and fruit so since we were stuck in our room.

I cannot find the words to express my gratitude for everyone at this resort! I was nervous to travel due to covid but everyone at this resort went above and beyond to ensure everyone’s safety! Not only did I feel the safest I have felt since this pandemic started but the service was impeccable!! I cannot wait to come back again soon!! It was the best trip we’ve taken this far! Please do know that not all restaurants are open but they are still hosting a variety of foods!
