Playa los Arcos has been one of my favorite hotels over the last many years. I am disappointed, though, about the new remodeling. The dining area has lost its tropical charm, being replaced with glass, metal, and artificial bougainvilea. But it looks like an additional hot tub will be nice. Bed was lovely.

Great location and great value. On the beach and within 5 minute walk of probably 30 restaurants. The waiters on the beach were amazing. We end up booking for 3 more nights.

Great place the only thing that was super disappointing was the room was a little outdated and the bed was extremely uncomfortable some people could sleep on that hard of a bed not for me!

Great location, perfectly nice hotel Very clean rooms. King size bed that was extremely comfortable Loved the location. It’s right in the romantic zone. Right on the beach, but with its own swimming pool. Good to mention that it was not noisy. Many friends at other hotels were complaining about construction noise. I would give it an A+ for lack of noise.

Great service, great location.
Nice hotel. Great service, especially on the beach with Esteban and Emilio. The room was clean, but badly in need of an upgrade. The new restaurant iK was a great addition and the best place in town to have a cocktail and watch the sunset. We will return.

This is a great location in the heart of the Romantic Zone. Right on the beach and close to so many wonderful restaurants and unique shops. The pools are quite nice and the restaurant serves delicious food. We had a room with a partial ocean view which was on the top floor with a balcony. View was fantastic! While the hotel has so much good going for it, I must say I was a little disappointed in the room. It seems like they need to do a renovation on the rooms once they finish renovations on the restaurant. The room and bathroom were very small... the bathroom had a vented window to the outside which let in all the loud noise from the street below and kept the room from being cool. If you’re looking for a modern, updated room with plenty of space, this isn’t it.
