Location is excellent in old town. Nice heated pool on roof- small but nice. Our room was large with balcony on street which can be noisy but it was great for us. Some rooms are smaller and do not have views. Excellent breakfast service was included at the los arcos hotel nearby on the beach. We love the old fashion Mexican style and cozy charm of this hotel. It is not at all like staying at deluxe chain hotel. It is very clean and the folks working there are wonderful.
would not come back or tell my friends
Absolutely sparkling clean. The staff was helpful, Fabiola at the front desk did extra miles to solve the problem. Close to everything, amazing rooftop pool adult only. Coming back soon.
My stay was absolutely wonderful!! They treat you like family!! I definitely will be stay there sometime soon again💕💕
The hotel was perfectly located to where I wanted to be in Puerto Vallarta. It’s very close to the beach and nearby restaurants and bars. The hotel room was cleaned every day and the premises were very well-kept. The pool on the rooftop has a beautiful view.
nice older hotel right in the middle of the romantic zone walking distance to everything. Has a nice elevator and pool deck on top with partial view of ocean. Adults only so no screaming kids in to pool. standard rooms kinda small but good A/C and clean.
The hotel is very nice. The sister property that you get the food and drink at is being renovated. The food is nothing special at all. Had a great time, beach is perfect. Servers are very friendly and attentive.
My 2nd stay here. I love the place. Old style Mexican architecture but updated rooms. You will be amazed by the huge sea grape tree in the courtyard. Very well located in the heart of Zona Romantica with easy walking to the beaches and bars/restaurants/shopping. Lovely roof top deck and pool with nice views. No children. The cleaning staff were constantly sanitizing all public areas and the rooms - a huge plus with the current COVID situation. All employees wore masks at all times. Just off the busier Olas Altas on a short side street with good security and very quiet.
They need to put some money into this place. It's nice but in disrepair. Curtains were barely hanging in my room. I couldn't totally close them. They were dirty. The noise was very bad. Screaming people for hours up at the pool in this building that has a large open middle space so noise was amplified. The next day the same. I had to finally complain but I shouldn't have had too. Even the guy downstairs acknowledged it was bad! One day four young guys were jumping in the pool. Running from the deck and diving in. I couldn't use the pool. plus two of them were smoking but no one in the hotel goes and looks around. They should do a half hour walk around and make sure things are ok. The staff was very friendly. Check in needs work on. You have to sign out for everything. The wrist band they give you, the A/C controller, the door keys. It's ridiculous!! On the mornings, around 630AM or around then, the cleaning staff starts showing up and boy you can hear them. They'll be on different floors and yelling down at others. Again, the space is open in the middle like a large cave so voices are amplified!! They are talking in a higher voice to each other on the main floor but it emplifies and wakes you up. The bathroom window is just a screen so the sound travels in. The windows on the rooms are not sound proofed and are thin so it wakes you up. You WILL NOT get any sleep once staff is there. This is the second time I have stayed here and the same issues!!
Cozy hotel in the heart of Vallarta. Walking distance to everything.
