When it comes to Disney, there is a high expectation for the cast members to provide a magical experience to all of their guests. This was so far from our experience I couldn’t even enjoy the parks. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and when we asked the cast member at reception if they had any anniversary pins, her reply was “no, this isn’t Disney World.” Yes.... we are WELL aware. Snarky responses, slow service, inability to go out of their way at all to make our trip special (or even simply pleasant), it was a very disappointing trip. We are huge Disney people and have stayed on property at all the Disney parks globally (except Shanghai), and this was by far the worst experience. To keep it simple, it’s not worth the money. You’re paying a Disney premium to stay at a 3 star hotel with 2 star service. If your only wish is to stay close to the park, then you can’t do better, location wise, but don’t expect Disney service or anything special.

4 star hotel, 6 star prices , 3 star service !! Have been thinking about staying here for Several years after visiting several other Disney hotels and for the £600 per night fee found it sadly lacking .. loved the feel, ambience and of course the location but .. service in reception was poor - queued for ages .. then they said our booking didn’t include park tickets despite it being on our booking form- had to wait 15 mins to see supervisor for them to agree we had tickets - kids just wanted to get into the park. Made us feel unwelcome as they were questioning what we told them re tickets . Staff generally hit and miss some were lovely but many were just miserable ☹️ Room with terrace was lovely - but only two cups, two robes for family of 4.. items not replenished and extortionate mini bar 10 euros for bottle of water !! For a 5 star hotel the tea and coffee supplies should have been plentiful. On checking out day our park tickets then would not work at the park gate and had to go back to the hotel reception where we waited for them to be replaced! Very frustrating and a waste of time. The location is the only great point but having stayed in the New York hotel where the service is much better I don’t think I would pay almost double to stay here again - sadly as it should have been a great experience .. .. needs to improve to warrant its prices.

So close to the parks. Room were beautiful, but food extremely expensive. We had to pay 70 euros for dinner and 36 euros for breakfast for a 13 year old that eats like a sparrow. Very disappointed with that.

A quick weekend away
The hotel cannot be beaten for location, it really is in the heart of the action. The decor though is looking very tired. The wallpaper in the room was ripped, the taps leaked and the bath wasn't clean. On top of that it is very expensive, 3 diet cokes in the bar cost £20. Having said all of that the experience was still magical and everyone had a great time.
