Very disappointing, inferior to the Cancun resorts
Overall, we had a very disappointing experience, this resort is seriously inferior to the Temptation and Desire resorts in Cancun. On the positive side, the Playmakers were enthusiastic (especially Mike and Medusa), and the rooms were clean and spacious. Unfortunately there were many negatives. The food is terrible, and the restaurant/bar service is very inconsistent. The pool was freezing cold, so guests were hesitant to swim or play any of the pool games. Most frustratingly, we were harassed by premier staff selling timeshare memberships on 3 separate occasions. I understand it is their job to ask once at check-in, but rather than taking no for an answer they bothered us again at our breakfast table, and at the pool bar. Finally, the resort is overpriced for such a new hotel. There were very few guests to socialize with because the resort was so empty. The resort should lower the price at first to get some people there, and raise it later once it has become more popular.

Buyer Beware! Not the vacation we paid for. Before I start I want to stress that the staff here were incredible. Our breakfast server and pool attendants Michael and Julio were very attentive and helpful. The Bar Staff Leonaldo, Piel Antonio, Sonia, and Yesinia were friendly, entertaining, and kept the drinks flowing all day and night! The Playmakers Madusa, Maluma, Exotic, Angel, Alex, Mike, the Perverse, and our personal 2 favorite playmakers Coffee, and Andy Lovv were super friendly, inviting, high energy, and entertaining as they hosted games and events all day and the parties and shows at night. Now the Negative. We booked this trip several months ago believing that the resort would have been open for over 2 months to work out any bugs. They delayed opening until the day we were scheduled to arrive with no communication until a couple weeks before our arrival date. We even booked a "backup" hotel because we had no idea if the resort would be open because they would not talk to anyone. Even then the resort is not finished. Constant construction all around to the point we were woken up to construction sounds above us early each morning. Many amenities promised were closed, broken, or not built yet. Resort should not have opened for at least a couple more months. Many of the reasons we chose this resort were not available. Management did not care. When we checked out and told them our concerns we were basically told sorry, hope you come back.

Right from the moment we entered and till the time we checked out, the experience was surreal. From welcoming and cheerful staffs to the location of the resort, from the amenities available everything was up to the mark. It's definitely 5 resort. Staff was amazing especially we want to say about Mike swimming pool attentendent and waiter lady (unfortunately can't remember name) they are amazing. Guys from team play makers was amazing especially Vanda, Coffee and Mike they did our days. It was fun to be on resort. Beach is very nice. And it's a very safe resort. We are planning to visit again end of 2023. Now it's our favorite place in the dominican republic. We are highly recommend this resort.
