The check in process was quick and the room was clean. The hotel had a security guard which overlooked the parking area and entrance to the hotel, thus it felt very safe. It was located across the street from Plaza de las Americas shopping center which made it extremely convenient. Not only was there a Walmart style convenience store, a movie theater, and so on, but it also served as a local bus station. Thus, you can catch a bus to almost anywhere in Cancun for only $10 Mex Pesos. Finally there were lots of street vendors outside the plaza, all with good food. The only thing about the hotel I did not like was that one of the 2 elevators was down for a couple days. However, later I learned that it was because the floor was getting remodeled.

VERY convenient. Huge shopping and eating choices across the street Had option to change room or even to different hotel BUT chose to extend. I'd prefer more bilingual staff members to make it EXCELLENT. CITY. X has my recommendation
