We had a great view of the ocean, with banda groups or musico groups playing on the beach every day. The view of the water and the islands beyond were amazing. My parents had stayed here five or so years ago, and I remember it being cleaner. When we checked in, the floor was dirty, there was hair left on the shower wall, there were water spots on the shower door, and the other rooms that our friends were staying in were even worse than ours with the sheets being dirty, floors being even dirtier, etc. Also, it might be nice to have a mini fridge in the room as we were always gathering in the suite and we wanted our beers to be cold.

Overall my experience was horrible from the beginning to the end. I arrived on my birthday and my room wasn’t ready until three hours later from the check it time. Once I got to the room the restroom was flooded my room was not clean. I immediately called the front desk and informed them of the situation after several calls and three hours later they came. We walked out and two hours later when we came back to the room my room was still not clean. I called once again and they finally cleaned the room at 10:45pm. My entire birthday was ruined. I even had to tell the house keeping to clean the Mirrors because it was so dirty. For the next few days my room wasn’t cleaned. I had to go speak to a manager to get my room cleaned. Four days later my restroom didn’t work again. They wanted to move me to another room but I refused since I had family staying there too and they too had problems. There ac did not work, no phones you name it. Everything was just bad. Some employees in the front desk were also rude. Also the towels in the restroom where falling apart. I will never stay there in my life nor will I ever recommend this place. They should truly just fix all there rooms before allowing guests to stay there.

Needs to be cleaned better. Staff seemed to be annoyed with guests all the time. For what we needed it was ok.

The property is located in walking distance to the board walk, the mazatlan sign, the iconic Valentino’s (now an abandoned building) private access to the beach. My husband and I loved our stay here, emporio mazatlan serves the best breakfast buffet at their condimento restaurant. And it’s budget .
