The hotel was a nice boutique style hotel. Had a bar/restaurant and bakery (had some good baked goods) in the lobby - which also included a dj booth and large conference style table that was very nice addition. It's located a bit further out that the main area of Shinjuku so there can be a bit of a walk but can be nice if you're looking to stay away from the noise. There's a Family Mart about a block and half up. The rooms itself were small - but new and nice, with complimentary bottles of water. They try to go keyless for their rooms and provide a pin number. However, it was a 6/7 digit pin that is difficult to remember. We ended up requesting room keys instead (they reluctantly issued us one key per room). Staff was nice and mostly helpful. Had some issues - we got an email prior to our arrival from their staff requiring copies of passports and rooming lists. It was sent on a Friday and I didn't check my email over the weekend when I finally checked my email I was surprised to received a follow-up stating that our reservation was cancelled because we missed our check-in and did not provide them information but after a couple emails were able to clear up the confusion. Their reasoning was to help speed up the check-in process, but I think it just created more issues.

Great hotel!
Great hotel! Has a very cool and fun vibe. The bakery & restaurant attached are also excellent and serve a very nice breakfast. Beds weren’t terribly comfortable and it’s a somewhat long (but still manageable) walk to Shinjuku station, but overall, we loved it!

Comfortable but not super convenient to subway
These were the most comfortable of the beds we had on our 3 week trip to Japan, they like their beds HARD. Anyhow, the room is incredibly small but functional. We were only there one night before our flight home. It looked like they offered bike rentals in the lobby, although we didn't look into it at all. The location was fine, but if I had to do it over again I would stay closer to the metro station. It was a bit of a trek and there wasn't much that we wanted to see around the hotel. Everything that is interesting is back by the metro station. But, a taxi isn't too expensive which we used to get back in the evening after exploring. It is near the government building that offers free access to their observation space on the 45th floor. Definitely take the time to check it out. Tokyo is amazingly huge.
