Don’t stay here.
The room was horrible. We had wires coming from the ceiling. No windows. The AC didn’t work. We had no hot water. And got terrorized my mesquites.

I stayed here for a week as part of a research trip in Florence. The apartment was simple but spacious, with an absolutely gorgeous view of Piazza dei Ciompi and the hill up to Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato - I gazed out at that view quite a lot! They were very kind and upgraded my room to one that had windows, which I sincerely appreciated. My only complaint with the room was that the kitchen was extremely spartan - yes they provide pots/plates/pans/etc, but absolutely no spices/oil/salt/pepper/etc. I appreciated being able to cook to save money, but you might want to plan ahead by bringing some salt/olive oil/pepper, or of course you can buy it at the Conad one block down Via Pietrapiana. The hotel has (free!) laundry facilities, which I really appreciated. Even with two bars in front of the hotel, the room was completely silent with the windows closed at night. My only other complaint was that it was impossible to get in touch with the hotel via message on Expedia. I had a few questions and since the reception is not open all day, it would have been nice to have this option actually work. Otherwise, a good stay in a perfect part of the city (not so touristy.) I would stay here again.

Horrible experience. When we arrived we were given an envelope with the key. Took at least 30 minutes to find the room because we didn’t know the place had different elevators for different areas. The unit still under renovation. Instead of light fixtures there were electrical cables sticking out everywhere. The worst part… The property claimed to have a/c and yes there is a unit there but when I complained about the a/c not working I was told the unit is shut down by mgmt every day between midnight and 9am. Why claim to have a/c and shut it down!!! I couldn’t sleep because it was so hot in the room!! Horrible, horrible experience.

We stayed in the larger room 2 bed 3 bath. It was simple and clean. But there is no lobby and very little concierge help. It’s in a good area though. All of the rooms are different i think we got lucky with ours.
