Great place to stay with the best views, pool everything!
Hot Springs Hotel is a great spot to stay in Savusavu. The hotel has a great balcony (as do most rooms, I believe) with a beautiful view of the town and bay below. Wifi was good. My only complaint was that the water stopped twice during my 1 week stay... but the hotel was responsive and fixed whatever the issue was within an hour or two.
Friendly people, great views, and a nice pool and deck area. Only issues were an occasional short WIFI outage (minutes to hour or so), and two mornings we didn't have water for an hour or two. Both times the hotel was responsive and got things working again. Overall great value!
Great views from this hotel, located up on the hill above town. Big dining room and pool / deck area. Rooms were clean with good air conditioning and wifi. Water wasn't working twice, but both times hotel responded and got things fixed relatively quickly (within hour or two). Will stay again!
The hotel looks a bit run down and the room is a bit dated. The towels in the room supposed to be white but it really was grey-ish color. Suggest that people may want to bring their own towel. The bed cover has holes which look like burned by cigarettes. The hotel was double booked somehow on the 2nd when we arrived. They only gave us a short notice to be moved to another place. Even though the new location seems to be a better place, but I have to share bathroom with another guest which wasn't desirable. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. However, there is a very little choice of decent hotels in Savusavu. So I guess it all depends on what you can tolerate.
Pool is closed due to construction. Day time construction noise continues. Looking at previous reviews during my booking, this has been ongoing for quite awhile. Maybe need to post a date when the location actually has a pool that can be used.
So quet , nice view , so peaceful. Great place nice environment
Not told by Expedia that there was no pool available or the chance of no bar or restaurant available but they were just opened when we got there but the Pool was the major concern it was empty & booked a wedding party there & kids & adults had to use the Jetty or other resorts to have a swim.
Nice hotel for overnight or short stay. There was no TV or radio in the room, linens do furniture looked rather old, extreamly limited options on hotel restaurant menu. On the good side there staff was friendly and awesome.
The hotel is very nice, close to the centre. If you want to stay in Savusavu , to enjoy the life in the town, to visit the pearl farm,.. It is a good solution. The swimming pool is always in construction, but it will be finished soon. The staff is very nice and very help full. Other accommodations are fare away from the town, they cost more.
