Not a tourist neighborhood but convenient location. Nearby department store had restaurants and grocery store in basement with lots of prepared foods for takeout.

Great hotel in a non-tourist area
Nice hotel, not the most modern or spacious but the room size is typical for Japanese hotels. Loved the area. One of the few places in Tokyo that you don’t hear a lot of English or other foreign languages.

The Sangenjaya Triangle
The b in Sangenjaya is a great budget option in a fantastic area of Tokyo, only 10 minuets from Shibuya station. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, making up the room everyday. Checking in and out was seamless and the free coffee in the lobby was surprisingly strong. So if you want to get lost in the Sangenjaya Triangle and stumble back to a hotel, the b is a great option.
