Lovely Private Pool
This is a really beautiful hotel, but it is far from most things in Cancun and if you are taking a tour, this might be out of the pickup range. If you have a car, I think it would be great. There is not much around but UberEats delivers, there is a 7-11 and a restaurant in the building. I honestly think just a tiny bit more effort during check out or a map of the space to let me know where things were...they mentioned a spa with good facilities but I never really knew where it was or when it was open. Breakfast was not great. The gem of this is really the private pool, for the price it's a beautiful space and you really can't beat it.

Brand new hotel. Nice rooms small staff. Area is up and coming. Great restaurants and bars for locals 1.6 miles going east. You can see all of the new amenities, destinations and residential developments popping up. Its definitely going to be a hot spot in the coming. Will stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay with the Hive. It’s location is off the main area of Cancun (which I loved , but my boyfriend didn’t lol. He loves the action) bus is the best method of transportation being at this hotel, as taxis are so expensive The employees were absolutely amazing. I would definitely stay here again

Séjour au Hive Cancun
Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans cet hôtel. Le staff est vraiment très accueillant et bienveillant. Le lieu est propre. Des restaurants sont à proximité ainsi que des magasins d’alimentation, tout comme un ATM dans un 7 eleven si vous devez retirer de l’argent. L’hôtel est situé à 30 min de la grande zone hôtelière (Vegas 2) ce qui ne nous dérangeait pas au début puisque nous avions booké myriade d’activités avec des tours. Le seul souci c’est que parfois certains tours offraient de nous récupérer seulement dans la zone hôtelière alors il fallait trouver un taxi pour se déplacer. Heureusement, il y en a toujours en bas de l’hôtel, le chauffeur Alejandro est le plus honnête homme taxi driver que nous ayons rencontré à Cancun. Pour revenir vers l’hôtel nous avons rencontré nombre de chauffeurs qui doublaient voire triplaient leur tarif…en général c’est 400 pesos one way. Il faut toujours leur demander le coût du transport avant de monter en voiture et ne pas hésiter à changer si vous sentez l’arnaque. Petit conseil, réservez un taxi ou shuttle à l’avance, j’ai réservé un transfert aéroport/hôtel avec la compagnie Shuttle Cancun proposé par le site officiel de l’aéroport de Cancun même. Quelqu’un était sur place mais il y a eu une attente de 45min à l’aéroport avant qu’on nous mette dans un shuttle. Cependant, nous sommes bien arrivés à destination. Up to you.
