Great location at a good value. Clean hotel convenient to businesses in Boston, and to the east many restaurants.

Very Good
Great historic hotel and staff. Smaller without some conveniences I've come to expect from a business hotel, no gym on site, no lunch service in restaurant and no ice machine on each floor.

Not a good value
Not worth the price for a tiny room with a broken shower. Bar closes early and the restaurant is small. Its a good thing there are other options for food and drink close by.

Sleep was difficult
Pillows were unusable they were so big. Had room right next to the elevator (there are not many rooms so the odds of getting this room is very high) - the elevator isn't loud but if there is someone talking in the hall waiting for the elevator you feel like the person is in the room with you as you lay in your bed.
