About this apartment
Nestled among the hustle and bustle of Torquay Harbour is The Moorings – a chic, comfortable seaside two-bedroom escape for a couple or family. Wake up to the sound of seagulls, the clinking of boats and breathe in that fresh sea air – here, you can retreat from the world and watch it all from the comfort of your balcony. If you’re feeling adventurous, head out and access Torquay’s treasures, from boats and boutiques to bars, as well as the English Riviera and beyond.
If you are searching for adventure by day, excitement by night and a calming haven to return to, The Moorings ticks all the boxes. It’s the perfect pad for a couple or family to use as a base to explore the area, with all the home-from-home comforts you’d expect packaged up in a chic little apartment. Torquay Harbour is on the fringe of the town centre, so it’s just a hop, skip and a jump away from an array of continental-style cafes, restaurants and cocktail bars. In summer, Haldon Pier comes alive with an eclectic mix of summer events as well as sailing, fishing and wildlife safari boat trips and river cruises. Lose yourself in a plethora of excellent shops and art galleries around the harbour area. Torquay is also a gateway for walks in the Devon countryside and the South West Coast Path.
A medley of warm earthy tones, jewel-like sea colours and comforting textures characterises The Moorings. This classic yet contemporary open-plan apartment is gorgeously sumptuous throughout. Sink into a squishy sofa after a day out exploring, flick on the TV and unwind. Easy meals can be whisked up in the kitchen-dining area and if the sun’s out, you can eat al fresco on the balcony. Two fabulously comfortable double bedrooms that would not look out of place in a high-end hotel will ensure you have a restful night’s sleep. Each has its own en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, basin and WC. The Moorings is surely the most sophisticated place to spend a Devon staycation.
Due to its elevated position and being accessed via steps, The Moorings is unable to welcome guests who require use of wheelchairs or who have additional mobility requirements.
