This hotel was really nice. The huge California King bed was extremely comfortable. Blackout drapes, nice modern bathroom with strong water pressure. Convenient location.
Hampton staff and facility was very nice. I will stay again when next in Washington.
My overall stay was wonderful. I wanted peace and quiet and I got just that! The front desk was mice enough to give me a bottle opener for free! The room was neat and clean and just beautiful. 10/10 recommendation!!!!
I loved my room. I was on the 10th floor. It was clean and very spacious.
The hotel reception was a little run down in places, looked like they were planning on a refurb though. Staff were more than happy to help with absolutely anything and especially considering the COVID circumstances they were very accommodating. I would definitely stay again for a city break. The swimming pool was not open and the staff had informed me that it hadn’t been open for over a year.
2water took too long to get hot
Clean but way overpriced. You’re paying for location which could be better too. There’s no breakfast and no pool which are both falsely advertised. The valet only parking is $50 a night for guests who are already paying to stay there. Seems ridiculous you are charging people to park their car at the place they are already paying to stay at. We stayed at a much cheaper hotel the night before and were more impressed with the quality of that hotel than this one. The doors to the bathroom didn’t close without jamming them shut and yanking to pull them open. The elevator doors do not wait for people to get on or off and continue to close on you even if you try to hold them open. Which is really frustrating and almost impossible to get a cart or stroller in without getting pinched in the door. Not to mention trying to help children on or off. Staff was friendly and helpful but having to wear a mask in the hotel was super annoying. Overall I would probably not stay here again. To sum it up... Pros: Friendly staff Clean Close to downtown Cons: Expensive room rates Pricey Valet parking only No pool No breakfast Masks Required in the hotel Frustrating elevators
The staff was great very helpful. Hotel was clean & convenient
Clean and comfortable hotel within walking distance of DC tourist sites. No hot breakfast but nice bagged breakfast with yogurts, fruit bar, fruit and water.
