Hotel needs a refurb
We have stayed in Ibis hotels previously and found them perfectly satisfactory. The Swansea site definitely is a bit shabby and the shower has weak water pressure. On the plus side, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was pretty good. Wi-fi was patchy.

Excellent Budget Hotel
Really brilliant customer service, particularly customer service person Maria who was extremely helpful, sorting out for example a smooth room move as our TV was broken and extra tea and milk. The staff have a good understanding of covid measures . The room was clean and comfortable. We are regular visitors to Swansea and plan to stay here again.

Stop off in Swansea
Good location as a stop off at Swansea for a night. Hotel tidy in main foyer and free car parking with plenty of spaces at the front. In room, there was slight noise from the main road and as there is no air conditioning, can imagine it being fairly loud if you needed to leave the window open during the night, although as we had the window shut at night it was fine for us. Bathroom was fairly poor and unclean, smelled badly and worn out despite rest of hotel looking relatively new. Great service from all staff while staying. Unsure I would visit again, would likely go to the Premier Inn on the docks for a better stay.

No issues with my stay, I was welcomed on late arrival. Covid-19 precautions in place were being followed.

Had booked two rooms. I was offered an upgrade for £10 for one of the room. Realised that it was a room for disabled but didn’t bother to change as I was there for one night only. However I should have been told about it. The worse was that we were woken up at 2.45 AM with a loud altercation going on in the lobby. Not hotel’s fault but did ruin our sleep.
