Breakfast as an added value
The best part of the Hotel Rose Garden Hotel was the wonderful breakfast service - a wide selection of both Japanese and Western food - well served.

The hotel has everything we need. But room was small to put our luggage on the floor. Room typical of room space in Japan

This was my third stay at Hotel Rose Garden, it's that good. It's small (like all accommodation in Tokyo) but extremely clean and comfortable, as you'd expect in Japan! It's also perfectly situated not more than a 10-15 min walk from Shinjuku station (West Exit). May I recommend Karaoke at Big Echo, followed by an excellent meal at Ootoya on 3F of the adjacent building!

Good location, but a bit dated and no frills
Convenient location right to metro station and about a 10 minute walk to Shinjuku travel hub which is great for day trips and travelling around the city. Hotel staff were nice and spoke some English. We had booked with breakfast through hotels.com, but this had not been picked up in the reservation, so unsure whether the app or the hotel is to blame on those this one. Noisy at night lots of sirens and road noise, I would recommend earbuds. Room size good for Tokyo and bed was elevated meaning baggage could be stored under the bed. Double bed Is only a 3/4 bed so go for a larger one when reserving. Hotel is a bit dated. Room wasn’t cleaned daily.

Great Little Hotel!
Tokyo was our first stop during our family vacation to Japan. This hotel welcomed us in a friendly, hospitable way. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and went the extra mile when we needed assistance. The rooms were small, but comfortable, and I love the extra and abundant toiletries that the hotels in Japan provide. The hotel is walking distance to train/subway stations, many restaurants and attractions.

Excellent location, a short walking distance to Shinjuku-Ku station and convenient stores. Great breakfast buffet. Our room is very tiny, not enough for 2 mid-size luggages which are our closet. But will recommend the hotel to friends.

Definitely will stay again!
I stayed in the new wing and the room is considered big for Tokyo standards. I could open a 29 inch luggage AND have space to walk around. The room's toilet has the basic toiletries of shampoo, bath gel and toothbrush, but I loved the fact that they had toiletries like cleansing oil, shea butter body lotion, etc in sachets at the reception, so that you can take as you need and not waste. The hotel is also very conveniently located; opp Nishi- Shinjuku station (metro, not JR) which very importantly has a LIFT to road level (exit at Tokyo medical hospital exit), so you don't have to lug your luggage up stairs. There is Yoshinoya next door, Ippudo ramen, Dotour, across the street, Matsuya further down the road, convenience stall around the corner, so you don't have to worry about food. Haneda Airport Limo bus stops at Hilton Tokyo which is just a 5 min stroll across the road from Hotel Rose Garden ( after Tokyo Medical Hospital) and it takes about 1hr to get to the airport. Service is great! I brought my 29 inch luggage the night before check-in to leave in the hotel as it would be raining heavily the day I checked in. I also had some delivery parcels I was expecting. When I checked in, my luggage and parcel were in my room already. Love it! Stayed 2 nights.
