Not worth the money
Spa was very disappointing, more like a flooded cellar and floor & wall tiles had a very slimy coating. My husband had a nasty scratch from nails in the sauna. Not ideal for people seeing a show even though 2 stops away on tube as they stop serving at 22:50 and were unable to get a night cap when we retuned at 22:55. Breakfast is only average and not worth the money paid.

wont stay here again
I had problems from the moment i tried to check in. My room was available but the front desk would not check me in at 12:30pm because the rules are check in at 3pm.My bed sheets were not changed and i had to call the manager to come look at the sheet with feces on it. i also had what appeared as make up on the pillow case. In room dining is next to impossible to order and on 3 different occasions, the in-room dining phone just rang. On a 4th occasion, the in-room dining picked up the phone and left me listening to the background noise for about 5 minutes, and then hung up. On 2 separate occasions, there were hair balls in the bathroom floor. The breakfast is average to below average. For example, the scrambled eggs seemed to be not 'real' scrambled eggs but from a formula or mix. The location and room size were good. i paid GBP395 per night and the 8 days of frustration and lack of customer service was not to standards. i travel to London monthly and will not stay here again.

Awful
Not a 5 star hotel by any means. - Entrance blocked by a lorry - No doorman, even though many steps and no accessible entrance visible - On check in was told would need to change room after the first of a two night stay - On check in was told key for door would not work and a staff member would accompany us each time we went to our room - On check in observed the poor condition of the decor (windows unpainted) - On arrival in room (#1) TV did not work; electricity outlets in the room mostly did not work: lights were broken - Staff were pleasant but unable to help as the hotel was fully booked - Breakfast the next day was poor; multiple guests complained within ear shot; another location which has not seen a can of paint in a very very very long time (hint: look up). - Day 2 went to réception to complain to the manager; another guest arrived at the same time to complain about their room also - We were moved to the promised room - much better (though the sound from the TV didn’t work — I just gave up at this point). Its location as a hotel is great but don’t be deceived. It’s cheap because it’s awful. I’ve stayed in many 5 stars. I now remember why I don’t change when I’m on to a winner. Stay at The Langham instead. A true 5 star, the same distance from all major attractions in this area.
