Noisy Hotel :-(
Booked a creek view room for 5 nights, stayed on 10th floor and could still hear the nightclub music from the 2nd floor!! All creek view rooms have a main road below them which is busy at all times of the day. Windows are ok but not totally sound proof!! After being kept awake until 3am with the night club on numerous nights, I was then woken up at 0540 hrs with an engineer on the roof fixing the air-con!! I decided to check out one night earlier than planned and find a more suitable hotel. Reception staff were not very helpful when I informed them I was leaving early due to the noise and they would not refund the night I didn't use as I booked a non-refundable room. I was only leaving early because of the hotels poor quality and constant disturbances. It's not often I leave reviews, however I would like to warn other travellers. Hotel location is great and there's plenty to do in the vicinity. Hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport. Sadly I won't be returning to this hotel because of the disturbances. The Dubai hotel market is highly competitive and there are plenty of other better quality hotels for the same price. As like the other reviews for this hotel, I'm expecting the hotel to comment and say they will pass this information onto the relevant managements teams in the hotel, and then nothing will be done!!
