Myself and my partner booked two nights at the Forshaw hotel in Blackpool over January.
Now where do u start, please I can not stress enough do not book this hotel, it is absolutely horrendous. It felt like a refugee hostel or a half way house for prison release.
The hotel is derelict from the outside; workman removing windows, broken door and windows and insecure on hotel. The door into the hotel is down a little alley way which is apparently broken from “high winds” anyone could of got in and out of the hotel.
The cleanliness of the hotel is not the best, carpets are black full of dirt and mood, marks all over walls. Absolutely NOTHING like the pictures. Moving onto the reception area it absolutely stunk of bodily fluids, and just general smack head, the receptionist was unkept.
We payed for our room, the room was absolutely tiny even though I had payed for an upgrade. There was a howling whistling noise through window which was a draft, room was absolutely baltic cold. The bathroom had a constant running fan. Rubbed my fingers across the table and bed frame was dirty.
I’ve never moved so quickly out of a hotel in my life. Me and my partner lasted 15 minutes in the hotel before we checked out and had to book a last minute emergency hotel at the premier in across road. I’ve never been so disappointed, I’ve stated in some questionable hotels but this was the worst by far.
Do not book this hotel, it needs knocking down.I’ll be taking this to local papers.
