We always end our visit to Greece at the Avra. Such a lovely, relaxing place to relax after being in Greece for 2 months and before flying back to the US. The airport shuttle makes it even better. Lots of dining options, great seaside beach in season, and really good food on site if yiu don’t want to venture out.

We stayed here for one night after our cruise, it was the perfect place to regroup and prepare for our long night home. The restaurants right next door along the coastline were an added bonus. The on-site breakfast buffet was delicious with a very large variety. The room was comfortable but the best feature is the shower head, I had my best shower here during my 2 weeks in Greece. Very good shuttle service to the airport, too!

I only spent one night there, a layover between Tirana and Sofia. The hotel is new, spotless, and has an excellent location. It's right next to the ferry port, perfect for those going to one of the islands. The town of Rafina, on the other hand, is practically empty, only suitable for layovers.
