Stay far away from here
This was the worst place of the three weeks travelling. Was excited to go as high ratings and pictures looked awesome. We get to this shack where there are cracks in the walls. Rust on the tub spider webs from the lamps that aren’t even dusted. The carpet is old with an open seam. This was the most expensive we stayed in but wasn’t about to cause a fuss. It’s in the middle of nowhere so you have to buy dinner there. Also had to buy breakfast which was $36 and was left there because so bad. So disappointing. called them and they refused to do anything how on earth this place got a 4.3 is beyond me although I believe there are nicer rooms if you’re willing to pay $250 a night. Do yourself a favour stay in Hinton a much nicer area for less money.

Better value in Winter
Bed and couch wasn't so comfortable 16 dollars for breakfast was mind bending BBQs take forever to cook food on literally 40 minutes for a steak Not a lot of value for the price you pay Much much better going here in the off season This was one of my favourite places to stay

Cant wait to go back!! ✌
We really enjoyed our time at Pocahontas. The check in was fantastic and the lovely girl at the front desk told us upon arrival we had been selected for a complimentary upgrade 🤗 (thanks again for that!!) Pocahontas has a nice gift shop with snacks and beverages. We had an excellent buffet breakfast 👌 (we were pleasantly surprised, cause ya know how they can be sometimes 🙄) it was additional but totally worth it. We were very comfortable in our cabin as was our medium sized poochy 🐕 BBq’s on site is convenient. Great park, nice pool and hot tub 😀 I will definitely stay there again.
