A place with character
I've stayed here a few times now but this stay was the best. Very friendly check in staff upgraded my room to the Anne of Cleves suite. Traditionally themed in the original old part of the property. Great cosy, clean and comfortable room with a garden view. And a jacuzzi! Probably not to everyone's taste, but I love the quirky uniqueness of these types of rooms and hotels. Restaurant meal was tasty and reasonably priced (for a hotel). Quite a wide selection of different foods available for the all-you-can-eat breakfast. This is a lovely place to stay if you want to avoid the McD-style hotel chains.

Stepping back to the 1970’s
One night stop over stepping back into the 1970/80’s Reception a breeze , fast check in Room OK , bit dated Fruit bowl is a nice touch .. Comfy bed . Evening meal ? 1/10 poor .See fish n Chip photo , Didn’t stay for breakfast.
