Amazing Stay
I was a bit nervous checking in online, but the process was easy. I was checking in at 2 am, and they made sure someone was as the desk to check us in to our room. I reserved the double twin room. It was updated and the air-conditioner worked gloriously perfect, especially with the heat wave outside. The location of the hotel was perfect. Easy to walk to the museum, shopping and the best resturants. Out rest room in the room was updated and clean. The only thing was the door was a clear glass partition. It would be nice to have privacy while in the restroom.

2/10 Poor

The property is extremely over priced for the quality of the property.

The location was good near the park. The building is old and in need of a complete re-fit. The room was small and the bathroom tiny and the safety bar was broken! This cost $A1,700 for three nights. I would rate it a 2 1/2 star hotel at a 4 star price. Asked for double bed and got twin - that's just how it is - not even a sorry. No view and the window had old bird droppings on it. There is NO housekeeping. Not recommended - go to The Hague

2/10 Poor

Had a single room which was awful. Tony and window did not open. Everything looked worn and staff unwilling to help. Would not stay again

Excellent position, extremely helpful staff, reasonable decor. The only unacceptable thing were the plain glass, swingate bathroom doors. For goodness sake, at least get them frosted or better still, get proper doors for visual, auditory and olfactory privacy. Great shame to spoil an otherwise very pleasant accommodation.

For the amount of money that they charged, the 'hotel' is about two steps above a youth hostel. The front desk staff was kind and helpful, and that is about the only positive thing I can mention. The room had no tv (at a cost of about $330 U.S. per night!). I had requested a double room, but was told that due to water damage I was assigned to another room (which type of room was not specified in the e-mail I received). I got a room with two twin beds, each of which was so small that I dared not turn over in bed for risk of falling on the floor. As a general rule, guests had to punch in a number on the keypad at the front door in order to gain entrance to the building. The building itself has a great location, near the major museums. Had I known in advance what I was getting, I would not have stayed there, and I will not return.
