El lugar me encantó, el ambiente, trato etc. Excelentes vacaciones.
The beach and waves were amazing!!! The rooms were very clean and updated. I travel often and stay in all inclusive resorts all of the time. I am not stuck up about where I stay usually.... There was only one bar open during the day and despite some reviews I read, there was no swim up bar. The only food option we saw was the buffet unless you went off the resort, which is easy to do. There is a pizza place and Surf club bar and grill in walking distance. We chose to do that or walk to the convenience store for snacks, drinks or beer. I would barely call this an all inclusive. It seems like it was an all inclusive on a small budget because they limited you to one beer, one soda and one water in your refrigerator every other day!!!! Most people did not want to wait in the extremely long line for a drink (even soda and water you had to wait) by the pool so they didnt have one. All in all i will be back to tamermindo but never to this resort again. Oh... and they even made us fill out a review while they looked over our shoulder just so they would have some positive reviews. This was a sad excuse for an all inclusive resort.
The rooms were clean and tidy. Food was tasty. Staff was accommodating.
The resort was very neat and clean. No Wi-Fi unless you paid for it which was $12 a day. The food was good but could have had more of a theme than the same thing every day.
Awesome location, very good services... my wife was bitten by a very aggressive iguana near by the pool and the staff don't have even gel alcohol to clean the injuries. Hotel Management should put signs warning about iguanas.
Pros: great price, hotel area is mostly clean/well kept, beautiful beach/location, seen howler monkeys, iquanas, raccoons & one friendly skunk on property, some of wait staff were friendly/accommodating, front desk accommodated when I asked to switch rooms. Pina coladas made with fresh coconut juice were the bomb! Cons: safe didn't work, bathroom sink plugged, sliding door to balcony jammed, no hot water in room, jacuzzi plug broken, unable to fill, had to climb steep flight of steps inside our room door to get to actual room, discotheque is open until 1:00am with loud drunks staying out by it until hours after closing & trying to get into our room, gave me two double beds instead of previous king size I had before when switching rooms, only one bar open at a time, snack bar is only open from 11-5 & the only other food option besides the limited hours buffet is two alacarte restaurants that we weren't allowed to go to more than once for 5 day stay, food is mediocre, cheap liquor made most mixed drinks taste awful & unrecognizable, real strawberries are unheard of & fake strawberry flavoring used for any strawberry flavored drinks & in their desserts is TERRIBLE. MAIN reason we won't come back to this hotel: it is very heavily populated with local people on weekends/weeknights & most of them had an entitled attitude & repeatedly cut to the front of food/bar lines & immediately get waited on by hotel staff. UNACCEPTABLE to treat your #1 source of income: tourists this way!!
The live band was great and the overall customer service was good. However, the room was shabby and the food was ok.
Beach beautiful. Rooms need to be redone. Sliding doors old, mirrors in bathroom toothpaste splatter, bottom of curtains dirty, Kleenex box holders dirty. Great workers, maids, cooks
Unfortunately we arrived at the hotel late in the evening and the AC was not working and stayed inoperable for 4 days! That aside the location and services were great especially the through the day entertainment. There are small things that seem to indicate the hotel was reopened after a refit but small things were left undone.
