This hotel is a typical older hotel in Mexico with a quaint style and layout but it needs updating and maintenance to bring it up to the standard of a 3 star hotel. Our room had No hot water issues 5 out of 7 days, and the sliding door didn’t close fully and was falling apart as was the towel rack and fittings in bathroom and the open screen in bathroom let in a lot of noise from pool area. I will not be coming back to this hotel for my next trip to Puerto Escondido.

I keep coming back to this hotel, while it feels a little outdated, the service, location and friendly staff makes me want to come back as often as I can. Food is great, and the beach club is just fantastic.

The pool area was great and the hotel has so much potential but needs a few updates. It’s almost essential to speak Spanish here as very few employees speak limited English.

They have Construction going on above our room, the manager totally ignored my request of changing room, she told me that I was expected to go to beach from 8:00 am to 5:00 PM, I had to go to a different hotel we’re my family was staying to rest a I wasn’t feeling well. The ground keepers were very nice.

Hidden Gem!
This is definitely a hidden gem. The hotel is a little older but currently going through renovations. The beach club and restaurant is wonderful. Great seafood and drinks for a reasonable price. Steps away from the cleanest beach in Puerto Escondido!

They where very helpful from the beginning They held out luggage so we could enjoy the amenities they have to offer, I like the option of the beach club.
