    Ugh, so disappointing
Ok, I understand the Covid situation has changed how businesses operate, but with more effort and communication, it would have made our stay only slightly better. The details: check in was at 3:00, we were given our keys at 6:15. Some people waited longer. Soiled towels were to be put in a "black" bag for replacement, no black bag was available. Anything you wanted replaced (towels, soap, etc.) had to be requisitioned from the front desk. Who knew? Back to the check in process, one group waited so long they actually booked another hotel and bid good bye to HHH. In retrospect, that was a brilliant decision. The cleanliness and shabbiness of the property was really the undoing. I know they have vacuum cleaners, but never heard one or saw one plugged in, hence the abundance of foreign hair and detritus around our room. There are signs for no smoking or vaping around the property, but as you can see from the photo below, cigarette butts abound and remained there even after we requested them to be cleaned up. The broken window, really? And, to the ownership, when the GM is off for the day, be sure to schedule someone in charge who can make decisions and run interference for the overworked yet very nice front desk people who try to make your guests happy.

    Unhappy customer
Once arriving for check in, we had to wait 3 hours for our rooms to be ready. We came into our room at 630 and had to cancel our dinner reservations at 7pm. The Cleaning in this hotel was unacceptable especially during this pandemic . We rented 6 rooms. 1 room had a used wet towel in the shower. Another Room had a toilet that did not flush. Another room had used food in the fridge.

    A Hyannis favorite!
We've stayed here many times. Always nice staff and spacious rooms. And it was a great relief when we arrived to find the protocals they had in place to prevent Civid.

Had a nice stay at Hyannis Harbor Hotel.
Overall the place was nice, clean, comfortable. Staff was friendly, polite accommodating. Great location for Hyannis. Near beaches (1/2 mile or less), downtown (1/2 mile), ferries to Nantucket and MV. Decent restaurants nearby, in walking distance. I recommend Baxter's Boathouse and the Black Cat Tavern. Had a premium king room. Very nice condition, beautful bathroom, modern walk-in shower. Don't be shocked, but parking in that area is at an extreme premium due to the close proximity to the harbor and the ferries. So while the hotel does have ample parking, they will charge you $28 per day for it. It that's going to upset you, pick another destination.

Line out the door, no rooms available at check in. People waiting hours for rooms to open up. All amenities closed at 7 so could not enjoy them for our stay. Canceled reservation and money not refunded.

We arrived at 3:30 pm and our room was not ready yet. They did not know when it would be ready so they asked me for my number and they would call me. It was 4:00 pm and still had not heard back from them. I went back in and they said it was still not available, I asked to speak to a manager and they said she was not there at this time that I could speak to hear at 8 am the next morning. At that time I told them I wanted to be assigned a room of equal value or better for this inconvience and they gave me a room. Room was nice I have not complaints about that. Also I was not aware that we had to pay $28.00 a day to park our vehicle in their parking lot and I mentioned that to them and they asked me who did we book the room thru I said and they said that it may not be on their website. If I had known I had to pay the $28.00 to pay each day I would of found another hotel. So now my room cost me 268.00 instead of 240.00 a nite, my view was not of the bay or the pool it was the parking lot. The customer service at the time of check in looked to me to be very inexperienced and unorganized. I was the only one checking in at that time.

Stay was nice. Condition and cleanliness of the hotel was good. Use of the pools was limited, but understandable with the pandemic.

    Parking $28 per night!
Room smelled moldy when we first walked in - ran the AC before we could even stay in the room. We found wrappers and trash behind table and next to furniture and plastic t shirt size info stuck on the center of the headboard (very visible if cleaning the room!) and noticed the sheets were on wrong side out with the seams showing. Little things but gave us the impression that the room was not cleaned very well. The worst part was the daily parking fee $28 per night on top of the room rental! Landscaping was nice probably the best part.

The tower room was fresh & new. The staff were efficient and friendly. Can’t beat the location on Hyannis Harbor. My only issue was the parking fee, which I wasn’t aware of. Other than that it was a great experience!
