Good check-in from then down hill very fast,
Extremely dissapointing,asked for a double bed got two single beds put together. No service or seating for breakfast,and condescending front desk girl, Set a bad precident for my first night in Vilinus,absolute appalling behaviour and service for a five star establishment. As a seasoned traveller who spends up to eight months a year travelling the world and staying in hotels this hotel is right up there with there with the worst experienced in my travels. There is service in hotels and hospitality and lip service I got plenty of lip service. After 24 hours of travel who can't supply a double bed and breakfast as advertised maybe this hotel has to take a long look at its current management. Just for the record I am gold member with hotel.com and been involved in hospitalility for nearly 50 years at the highest leve.

What a wonderful hotel to give travelers a unique, old world experience with today’s services and amenities! The staff was very friendly and helpful while not being intrusive. The restaurant and the breakfast buffet are excellent. The hotel is in the footprint of a 500 year old monastery inside walls accessed through a gate. There is a very lovely garden in the middle of the circular drive. IMPORTANT: The front desk is staffed 24 hrs contrary to what Travelocity reports. Part of the old world charm is that the rooms still lock with keys that you can leave at the front desk and retrieve instantly when you return

Not a four star hotel
This property might pass for a two star hotel. We checked in and the room was musty and facility run down. It was all down hill from the dirty entrance carpet. No sense of a historic building or any charm. Good place to stay if you have pets. Only positive: Hotel was accommodating and allowed us to cancel our reservation.
