We will stay here again.
Beautiful boutique hotel in Chelsea with very friendly staff. Located right next to the Chelsea Market and the Starbucks Reserves, surrounded by tons of great restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Room is of a good size by NYC standard.

Wonderful stay
I spent 5 nights with my 10 year old daughter at the Maritime, and we loved it. We were on the 8th floor and had a great view with the Hudson in the distance. You do hear a bit of street noise, but you’re right in the centre of Manhattan, so to be expected. And generally the rooms felt really peaceful. Our room was a decent size and well laid out. Breakfast is relatively simple, but quite a few different options and is good for families - we preferred eating at the hotel to eating out for breakfast…where children end up overwhelmed by enormous portions.

Great location
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Maritime. We found the location to be great with easy access to the subway, Chelsea Market and the Highline, all just a block away. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. We did not care for the location of our particular room, 211, because it’s view was walled off, making the room even darker. We would not hesitate to stay here again, but would request to be on a higher floor than 2 or 3.
