Lots of restaurants opportunity. A little far to walk to. Taking luggage to the 2nd floor is hard.

The resort is set up for bus tours. Parking, except in the front of the hotel, is away from your room and complex. Wi-fi is only in the two common areas. Make sure you adjust your expectations, then you will have a good time.

Be prepared to walk across some paths from parking lot to room cluster/house (there are many mini clusters of rooms). Find out how far you will be from parking if you don't want to walk far. You can drop off luggage at front door but if the closer lots are full, may have to walk far. That said, security was really nice and drove us to the parking area, driving us back to the lodge where our room was after we parked. We saw faint Northern Lights even though they didn't call us as we signed up to be notified. So if you really want to see them, look North yourself, hehe, from time to time.

Didn't get the room type we requested. We requested a king room and got the room with a double bed, single bed and hide a bed couch. Parking was very far away from the room. Steak house food was good. Staff was very nice and helpful. Very close to the Denali park entrance.

Nice bedding good food and ambience. Hotel itself is super noisy in the rooms. Guests catching the trains are up early slamming heavy doors

I reserved this hotel 3 months ago for a room with a King bed. Upon arrival, I was informed they had no rooms with King or Queen beds left, and was forced to take a double bed. This was not mentioned as even a possibility on the website. It is totally unacceptable.

The hotel was was overpriced and terrible. The only redeeming quality was the fire pit and center of the resort. The rooms are motel like and do NOT resemble the pictures at all. We travelled on our honeymoon and splurged on this hotel. We were given a full bed and a twin bed. When we asked for a queen room, we were told that they couldn’t do it because we booked through a third party website. They give priority to all cruise guests. We stayed for two nights and they weren’t able to switch us the second night either. The room was clean but completely outdated. Do NOT stay here! There are many other places that look nicer. Also, the staff was exhausted and short. They also lacked knowledge of rules and information about the resort. We were given false information and other staff had to chase us to correct their peers. Overall, it was a terrible experience. The only redeeming factor was the national park. We wish we stayed at a cabin on the outskirts of town or a nearby hotel with better rooms.
