The staff were so courteous and happy to help, particularly the lovely lady in the lobby bar in the evenings and the receptionists. The buffet was very good - plenty of healthy salad choices as well as fish, meat and chicken main dishes and assorted veggies, as well as pasta and pizza once or twice. The beach is beautiful with turquoise and blue waters and lots of fish. Very lovely peaceful spot - we had an ocean view room and barely heard the evening entertainment which in any case ends around 10pm. Altogether we had a lovely relaxing week and plenty of rum punches. The first time we have tried an all inclusive but we will be back.
The rooms and property decor was very outdated. The entertainment was limited and not geared towards an active vacationer. There were extremely limited choices of premium liquor. The resort was virtually silent after 10:00 p.m. The property is in a great location of Rodney Bay. This could be the perfect resort if modernized.
It was right on the water, but you could also walk right out the front gate and be in town to go shopping. The staff was super friendly and the reaort was clean. Very beautiful place. I would go back for sure!
The bay and view from room, was great and with he boats outside, the setting was excellent. Found the front desk staff not helpful, very all knowing, and irrespective we told the desk 3 times that no water in the bathroom sink, nothing was done. Also awaiting a refund of $100 as yet not credited to my account. and when lady Christina tried, she just said some problem, and arrogantly turned away. Staff otherwise very pleasant, except front office staff. Also very disappointed when we arrived at airport, the Expedia representative indicated transport to hotel not included, in our all inclusive hotel booking??? Did not see on your website at booking, that one had to pay $200 for transport round trip. Yes a long drive, and only strange that no mentioned of this in the website reservation page???? Weather was great and feel only sad for the maintenance staff were not advised my management if hotel was going to stay open, or be closed prior to rebuilding, which could easily be started on the part of ground which already demolished, and when that finished, the current part of hotel could be closed, the staff moved to new build part, and the current site rebuild, whereby the hotel could continue to stay open and staff employed. Sorry found the Island the least attractive of all the Caribbean Islands we have visited, and have been on many.
To begin, our check in took 45 minutes because they couldn’t find our reservation. Then we ended up with 2 double beds when I had chosen a king when I reserved the room. The toilets in the lobby bathroom did not flush so my first impression was not great. After we tried to shower in the room (no water would come out of the shower) and our room toilet did not flush, the front desk told us there was a water main break on the island and all the hotels were affected. The next day we took an excursion so we talked to others staying nearby. They all had water! The real problem was our hotel did not have the spare tanks full like they should have. The water shortage lasted 3 days-we thought about leaving the hotel but each day we were told that the water would be fixed shortly. So we stayed. By our 4th day we finally were able to take a shower. The situation was made worse by the total disregard shown by the front desk. They were rude, non apologetic and when checking out the manager avoided us when we tried to speak to her. The property also needed some TLC-the hot tub by the pool was not warm, the tennis courts were in ruins and cups and wet towels by the pool were not picked up sometimes until the next day. On the positive side, the food and drinks were good, the beach was beautiful and the young man giving out the watersports equipment was very helpful. Also, the rooms were clean, the view was lovely and the beds comfortable.
The staff was great and very helpful, the food was amazing, the beach right next door was great.
This is a motel 6 with a view. Lousy amenities, staff was unhelpful and sometimes rude. Many water issues , dated facilities , poor communication from managers. Never going back.
like - location did not like - food, drinks, not having water 2 days out of 3 to have a shower. Management attitude.
Property was ok but there for four days and two of the days there was no running water and had to bucket the water from pool to room for toilets flushing and no compensation for the trouble and no frozen drinks those days either
Staff very nice and accommodating. Management needs a lot to be desired. You cannot arrive at 3PM and they tell you "wait for one hour to get your room ready". You cannot wait forever for the manager to address a simple problem, etc.
