Well sited hotel for shops, parks, and oth‘sites’.
The hote was easy walking distance from The Royal Palace and The Prado and across the road were Zara, Mango, Primark, H&M, Uniqlo and other noted clothes retailers.

Poor for the price
Rooms are tiny, probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in. No natural light because it was facing out at a wall. The hotel common spaces are quite stylish so its a shame that the rooms are poor in comparison. I booked this over another hotel to have the terrace and pool area, however it was closed most of the week anyway so that was disappointing. Staff weren't very helpful, I had an interview with a journalist during the stay, I asked the day before if there was somewhere quiet in the hotel and was told "your room?" we ended up sitting in a sofa area and then during the interview the housekeeping started hoovering around us. All in all quite a poor experience for the price - There are many better places to stay in this city.

Great hotel / one complaint on AC temp - poorsleep
Location was great in central Madrid on Gran Via (a little feel like Times Square if you want hectic nature - further down Grand Via by the park has the more historic buildings). Rooms nice size and clean Breakfast is great Roof access is great Staff very friendly Only ******complaint****and large one for me - the AC does not go below 21 Celsius per company policy - that is very warm to sleep at. I asked the desk on my second day and they said a Madrid Law, which it was not. I then inquired for a bed sheet and fan and asked again the second night and nothing could be done besides a bed sheet. I then asked to have the manager review the request during my 4th evening and was told he/she would contact me the next day - I never heard from anyone. As such I did not have a good night’s rest on any of my 5 nights. Had I known this I would have stayed at another hotel as it was too warm to sleep especially with two bodies in the King bed. We both had poor sleep during our stay and would choose not to stay again for that only reason.
