OK I dont like to bad mouth anyone who is trying hard to provide a good service, and Jason is definitely doing that. But after all the great reviews I read I really feel like future visitors would be better served by some honesty so they can make an informed decision. The rooms in this place are tiny, very tiny. There is no room to open a suitcase unless you put it on the bed. And the bed was very uncomfortable. I don't know how anyone could say anything else about it. It was an old spring mattress that is way way past its prime. It sinks down in the middle and if there are two of you you will spend the night rolling into each other. Despite the kind owner, this place is extremely low end budget and you should know if you need a place to stay a single night, it is only that and nothing more. I would not stay here again. Next time I need a ferry I would definitely stay in Chester or anywhere else and take the early train in. We did not sleep at all. Fortunately we got a cabin on the ferry and that was great. Additionally, it is two long and very narrow staircases up to the rooms so if you have any mobility issues, or more than a light backpack, this would not be appropriate for you. But if you are traveling alone on a very tight budget and can sleep on anything while the bar next door is playing outside games late into the night- then go ahead and give the hut a try- Finally, we were there on a sunday and on sunday and monday there is absolutely no food in town- none at all.

Great place to stay
We had a wonderful stay, the hosts made us feel at home and could not do enough for us, even surprised us with some sandwiches as we had an early ferry crossing. It was a great start to our holiday thanks guys . Omg that bed is sooo comfy!

Small room but good for the night we were there. Be aware that if you have heavy bags that you will have to walk up stairs. We needed a place to stay before we caught the ferry the next day. Good communication and if you like walking there are some cool historical sites to check out.

We stayed at this property as it was so close to the ferry terminal. When we got here we went into the cafe on site and jason and his staff couldnt have been nicer. We had a lovely lunch then seen our room. So cosy amd clean. Jason couldnt have been more helpful he gave us loads of hints on wear to eat where we could go for a nice walk and if we wamted to take the train to a place called. Conwyn. We did and itvwas amazing. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
