Casona Oaxaca

The walls are so thing and the door has gaps and you can hear every noise like if you were outside. Woke up every day at 6:50 am due to the noise outside of the room. The housekeeping staff did a great job at every time they cleaned my room.

El servicio fue increíble, muy amable todo el Staff, el desayuno es de muy buena calidad, mucho mejor que algunos restaurantes que fuimos. El cuarto es bastante espacioso y todas las instalaciones estaban muy limpias. También cuentan con un servicio de transporte al aeropuerto, lo cual nos sirvió mucho.

Initially the room I had was so dark that I needed the lights on at all times. This room didn’t have hot water and the shower pressure wasn’t so good. It also felt a bit dated. They kindly moved me to another room upstairs to the front. Although it was overlooking the Main Street it wasn’t noisy and I could sleep comfortably. This room was great, v clean and comfortable and the l’occitane toiletries were a lovely touch. The best thing about this hotel was the location; a block from the main square and two from the mercado, meant that it was great to come back and pit stop throughout a day of sightseeing. The staff were lovely and v helpful. Overall, I would definitely come back and stay here

There was too much noise outside my room due to that there was an entrance for employees and the smoking room.

The ubications was perfect, everything was within a walking distance and the room looked spotless, however, I left sweet bread in the night stand and the following day it was all covered with little bugs, they were not ants, I don't know what it was.

This hotel is centrally located, the breakfast is good and the staff is very professional. Parking is not great, but we had a handicap person with us and we were able to park right in front of the hotel. Overall it was a good choice, I would definitely stay here again.

The information provided by the hotel is false. They charge for bottle water without telling you until checkout. No free coffee as stated or restaurant and they will clean and rent a room the same day not the 72 hours between guest they claim. Covid-19 times. The room next (102) to ours had 4 didn't couple over a 5 night period. Beds aren't comfortable. It is a real hassle having to leave the room key with the front desk everytime you leave because they only have one key card. Positives are the location to the plaza and markets. Front staff are friendly and the tacos acroos the street are excellent.
