    Nice, with a few exceptions
    Our stay over the weekend was overall very pleasant, with a few exceptions. Checkin was nice and easy, and all the staff we met were friendly. Our room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the inn is close to town, which is very convenient. Besides COVID keeping a lot of the amenities closed, my only issue was that each night there were loud clanging sounds coming from the walls, making it hard to sleep. Every few minutes we would hear these sounds from a furnace or boiler, and it kept us awake much of the night, especially on our last night. At check out the front desk did not ask how our stay was, otherwise I would have let her know about the unfortunate noises. Overall it was a nice weekend, but hard to forget the loss of sleep on what should have been a restful weekend away.
