There was a bunch of noisy youths loitering in the car park when I arrived. When I left early the next morning, I discovered ladies underwear strewn across the car park. Obviously as a result of some drunken good times. Would stay there again.

The Property is located on the North side of Mackay across the Pioneer River, not in the CBD. It is in a quiet area and the rear part adjoins parkland. The Motel does have a Restaurant and bar but unfortunately not operational when I was visiting, BACK IN Business by 4th Oct.

Wish we could leave a better review but left disappointed & won't return. Paid over $1,000 for 6 nights for a one bedroom apartment (not in school holidays). Main reason we booked this room for the 2 of us was for a comfy lounge & bed and looked great online. We got neither. The bed was very uncomfy & the sofa was an old sofa bed that had collapsed in the middle (with suspicious white stains). We spent 6 days not being able to sit straight with bars digging into us. We also had to keep socks on the whole time as just normal walking around the unit left our feet dirty. Also a screen on the only window would of been really helpful to keep out the midges as left with many bites. Would be a great place with some money spent updating & better cleaning as great food at restaurant onsite & good location. Definitely not worth the money.
