The hotel appears quite tired and in need of modernisation. The room, although of a good size lacked any character. The breakfast was poor in comparison with other hotels of similar standard. Staff were friendly and helpful. In my opinion this hotel should be classed as 3*.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with good orientation to the city and suggestions upon arrival. The hotel itself has an antique charm with spacious rooms. The room was clean and I n-room amenities included a mini-fridge, kettle, and espresso machine. The hotel is conveniently located near a train stop and is not a far walk from the imperial complex. There are a plethora of dining options nearby as well as ATMs to appease the numerous cash-only establishments.

I really liked this place. They were welcoming to my dog. The location is right neat the Karlsplatz U1 line and the Night Markets. My only issue is that the image Expedia provided is not even close to what I got. The room was ok, but I thought I was getting more of a suite and instead I got more of a large room.
