Nice hotel in wine country!
We only stayed one night in Beaune, France, but would have liked to stay longer! The Henri II hotel is very nice, however, the mattress collapsed on the ends when you sat on it. We thought we might wake up with a sore back, but we didn’t. The A/C was adequate, but it isn’t that hot in September. Breakfast was $15 pp and well worth the money! Delicious food and great coffee. We bought wine and their Henri II wine glasses for the road trip. We would love to come back to Beaune and would definitely stay here again.

Not a 4 Star Hotel.
The best thing about this hotel was the staff. In fact, were it not for the kind man at the front desk who works the night shift, and kindly changed my room when I arrived at midnight, I would have called hotels.com and asked for a refund. This is not a 4 star hotel. At all. Some of the rooms are redone and some of the rooms look like a 2 star hotel at best. That was my original room. It made motel 6 look like the St. Regis. But, outside of the rooms (whether redone or not) the hallways are dirty and scuffed up, the carpet in the elevator is disgusting. I mean, truly disgusting. And busloads of Chinese tourists from mediocre tour agencies (2 buses parked outside each night) arrive every night. They are very loud and let the children run wild. The hotel is devoid of any charm. Had it not been for the man at the front desk who kindly helped me and upgraded me to a redone room, I would have sat down to cry. My 4 star hotel in Paris (also booked on hotels.com) is actually a 4 star hotel and the difference is astonishing.
