Relaxing and comfortable stay
Planned to stay for 3 days and then move on, but found it so good we stayed extra days. The road works carrying on outside, meant there was no other traffic, so was actually really quiet. Great location, and nice extra touches with fresh water and dates available, as well as fizz or coffee available on the large terrace

Not an experience I want to repeat
With the roadworks it was very hard to find the route in to the hotel. Despite walking to the hotel and asking for guidance we wasted over 30mins trying to get to the hotel. The hotel was hosting a party the evening we stayed which meant the restaurant was not open - it would have been helpful to have been informed of this before we arrived. The limited food available was from the bar which ws not very helpful for my 2.5 year old son. Because of the party the noise level was very high and went on beyond 3am, which meant a very poor nights sleep. Not impressed with the consideration given to guests over the need to host a party.

Enjoyable stay
We enjoyed our one night stay here. Hotel is as advertised. Room is elegantly furnished and very roomy. We enjoyed the vast selection of food at the breakfast buffet. The covered onsite parking of 19.90 Euros is high but the parking space is roomy, unlike the other hotels' parking we experienced which were very tight. Hotel's location is a short walk to the Burgos Cathedral and to it's many shops and restaurants.

Good facilities but expensive extras.
Spacious room. All very well presented. However, the reception was on top of a hill. You could drive a car up the single track but then one car blocked all the others. Car parking expensive and awkward. The cost for our dog was astronomical. Unlike other Spanish hotels, no dog bed, bowls etc provided.
