We always stay at the Sandman Guildford due to its convenient location. It is easy to access, and is quiet and comfortable. We were somewhat disappointed this past stay as the condition of the room was much less than what we have come to expect. Although still very liveable, things like mirrors, door trims , light switches, and the bathroom floor were in dire need of a good cleaning. I understand the situation the staff is faced with due to COVID, but we were delaying in taking possession of the room due to the deeper cleaning that was taking place in the room... which quite honestly, didnt appear to exist. We hope our next stay meets with some improvement, as my wife has health issues and especially during this virus situation, the extra cleaning is much appreciated.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The suite we had was clean. We Noticed our suite had no cups, but when we told front desk less than 5 minutes later a staff bought up us cups.
